Jessica & Chris {Engaged}

It was a beautiful autumn day. The sun was shining, a beautiful, relaxing Sunday afternoon & if you had happened to been driving down mounts bay road you would have seen three grown adults having an autumn leaf fight by the side of the road. That's the kind of engagement session this was.
Jessica & Chris met way back in primary school. Chris liked Jess but at age 10 she wasn't interested. After high school Jess was working as a hairdresser & needed a model. Chris needed a hair cut & his friend said he knew of a place where Chris could get it done for free as they where looking for models. Chris walked into the salon & thought to himself 'that girl with the orange mohawk looks awfully familiar'. These two are perfect for each other, not in hopelessly romantic kind of way, not even in a 'known each other since forever destiny' kind of way. These two are perfect in the way they laugh with one another, in the cute little insults they compliment each other with & the games they play along the way.

Marry your best friend. I do not say that lightly. Really, truly, find the strongest, happiest friendship in the person you fall in love with. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your belly ache & your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest, healing kind of laughs. Wit is important. Life is too short not to love someone who lets you be a fool with them
